Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Seats guests and takes accurate food orders
- Monitors food distribution, ensuring proper delivery, presentation, and appealing buffet setup
- Checks station before, during, and after shifts for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Adheres to all liquor regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests
- Familiar with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
- Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payments
- Assists with bussing tables
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred
- At least one (1) year in a hotel/restaurant serving role
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to exceed guest and team member expectations
- Ability to operate equipment such as cash registers and calculators
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Flexible hours and shifts
