We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep hands-on expertise in the Customer Service Management (CSM) module to lead software development in ServiceNow applications. This is a key subject matter expert (SME) role focused on designing, building, and enhancing ServiceNow applications, while also supporting integration and backend services through Java and AWS technologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and customisation of ServiceNow applications, with a strong focus on theCSM module to optimise business processes.
Serve as the in-house SME for ServiceNow , capable of identifying and resolving issues independently, and advising both internal teams and external vendors.
Architect and implement robust, scalable integrations between ServiceNow and third-party or cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS).
Support backend services using Java and relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
Conduct code reviews, ensure development best practices, and maintain platform standards.
Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior developers and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD efforts and help automate deployment processes.
Stay up to date with new ServiceNow features, trends, and relevant industry practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Min 6 years of ServiceNow development experience, with proven track record in Customer Service Management (CSM) module implementation and enhancement.
Experience in custom application development, Service Portal, UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.
Strong grasp of ServiceNow architecture and security models (RBAC, ACLs, etc.).
Proficiency in JavaScript for ServiceNow development and Java for backend services and integration.
Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based integrations.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; able to handle complex technical issues independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or AWS certification is a strong plus.
