Vacancies and Compensation Lead Maintenance Worker - $32.44 - $41.40 hourly, full-time, non-exempt, Department: Public Works, supporting Street Maintenance and Parks & Open Space divisions. Must be available for occasional nights, weekends, and emergency callbacks. The City is also hiring for a Maintenance Assistant position, a seasonal, temporary role (up to 999 hours/year), with typical duties including pothole repair, sign installation, debris removal, vegetation management, traffic control, painting, pavement striping, graffiti removal, irrigation repairs, and operating hand tools. Maintenance Assistant - $25.97 - $35.70 hourly, full-time or part-time, Department: Public Works, supporting maintenance activities. Additionally, we are hiring Maintenance Worker I/II positions, with salaries ranging from $156,222.17 to $199,383.48 annually, in either the Street Maintenance or Parks and Open Space divisions. Placement depends on qualifications. Ideal candidates are motivated, dedicated, customer-focused, and passionate about maintaining the City's infrastructure. This role qualifies for a 10% hiring incentive paid over three years. The recruitment is ongoing until filled, with applications reviewed weekly. We are also hiring a Principal Civil Engineer for the Capital Improvement Program, supporting development review and City standards compliance.
