We are seeking a highly skilled Security Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on mission-critical security infrastructure. This unique position offers the opportunity to design, build, and secure large-scale cloud environments, ensuring resilience against sophisticated threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and manage Kubernetes clusters from the ground up across both cloud and air-gapped environments.
- Engineer and automate robust cloud infrastructure to support high-performance security platforms.
- Develop and refine Linux scripts, Python automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Design and oversee extensive security data pipelines, processing terabytes of real-time telemetry.
- Analyze system internals and troubleshoot OS-level performance issues to optimize distributed security systems.
- Make critical architectural decisions independently while maintaining hands-on involvement in system implementation.
- Over 5 years of systems engineering experience with a strong focus on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and automation.
- Proficient in Linux, Python, and shell scripting, capable of writing code to control, monitor, and secure enterprise infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge of networking and security, with a deep understanding of system internals, monitoring, and threat response.
- Self-motivated with an execution-driven mindset, capable of functioning as a high-impact independent contributor.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher.
- Take full ownership of designing, building, and managing security infrastructure on a global scale.
- Engage in deep technical work with opportunities to explore system and Kubernetes internals.
- Contribute to mission-critical initiatives aimed at defending against advanced nation-state threats.
- Collaborate within a small, autonomous team of exceptional engineers.
