ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Release Management Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Senior Release Management Analyst supports the IT asset management process by ensuring IT assets are refreshed, inventoried, and released in a timely and efficient manner
They maintain the accuracy and completeness of the IT asset inventory, tracking the lifecycle of IT assets and coordinating release activities with stakeholders
They perform regular refresh and inventory of IT assets, such as hardware, software, licenses, and agreements, using automated tools and scripts
They update and reconcile IT asset inventory records with physical and logical assets, reporting any discrepancies or issues
They monitor and analyze the usage, performance, and health of IT assets, identifying opportunities for improvement
They plan and schedule release activities for IT assets, such as installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and decommissioning
They communicate with Development, Testing, Operations, Security, and Business Teams to ensure release requirements and expectations are met
They ensure release activities are executed in accordance with release management strategy, policies, and procedures
They troubleshoot and resolve release-related problems during or after release
They collect and report on release metrics and feedback, identifying areas for improvement
The Senior Release Management Analyst provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in field necessary or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
9+ years of experience with 5+ years of relevant Senior Release Management Analyst experience.
Deep understanding of IT asset management principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ITIL Asset Management). Expertise in inventory management, including hardware, software, licenses, and agreements.
Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
Experience with IT asset tracking systems and tools. Proficiency in using automated tools and scripts for inventory management and refresh activities.
Ability to analyze IT asset data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Familiarity with various IT hardware and software platforms.
Understanding of release management principles and processes.
Experience in planning and coordinating release activities, including installation, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve release-related issues.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Software Development or related discipline. At least 1 year of experience in an agile-informed development environment.
Experience with specific IT asset management tools and technologies used by the organization.
Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards related to asset management.
Experience with agile-informed and DevOps methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud-based asset management solutions.
Relevant certifications in IT asset management or release management (e.g., ITIL Foundation certificate, Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)).
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
