They are seeking a highly skilled Software Deployment Specialist to deploy, configure, and optimize containerized applications, ensuring high availability and security for their operations. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage containerized application deployments using Podman and OpenShift. • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools such as Azure, GitLab, and Jenkins. • Work closely with development teams to containerize applications and ensure consistency across environments. • Create and manage Help charts and Kubernetes manifests for streamlined deployment and configuration. • Monitor and optimize resource usage, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters. • Troubleshoot deployment issues, container orchestration failures, and networking configurations. • Implement and maintain security best practices for container environments. • Maintain a cybersecurity body of evidence for each software delivery. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Qualifications: Required: • In-depth expertise in container-based delivery and CI/CD software pipelines • Experience utilizing tools such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and OpenShift • Experience in deploying, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing containerized applications across multiple environments • Ability to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of applications • Experience in developing and maintaining deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools such as Azure, GitLab, and Jenkins • Experience in creating and managing Help charts and Kubernetes manifests • Ability to monitor and optimize resource usage, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters • Experience in troubleshooting deployment issues, container orchestration failures, and networking configurations • Knowledge of implementing and maintaining security best practices for container environments • Ability to maintain a cybersecurity body of evidence for each software delivery • Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration • Bachelor's degree in related field • Typically require at least 5 years of Experience with operational test & evaluation (OT&E) strategies, plans, and procedures • Experience in conducting detailed testing, including regression testing • Test or exercise planning and management experience • Ability to coordinate testing and/or exercises across multiple units in different geographic areas • Proficient with use of MSOffice family of software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Capable of conducting agile testing and evaluation • Active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI) Company: At KBR, we deliver science, technology and engineering solutions that are helping governments and companies around the world take on the great challenges of our time.
