The Amazon Device Services organization is on the lookout for a Software Development Engineer to play a vital role in creating cross-platform software aimed at enabling the seamless launch, provisioning, and management of devices. Join our team as we build innovative solutions that streamline Device Operations and Supply Chain from product design and component sourcing to production, shipment, returns, screening, and repair. Your contributions will help us automate operational tasks, enabling our business to focus on high-value activities and growth. In this exciting opportunity, you'll help us develop future-focused Supply Chain and Operations systems from the ground up. We are embarking on an adventure to create full-stack solutions for our internal customers, which include Forward and Reverse Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations, Finance, and other technical teams within Amazon. We're looking for someone who is dedicated to enhancing customer experience and who shares our commitment to customer obsession—ensuring that our products are readily available to delight consumers. Your role will involve: Developing new features in the Forward Logistics area using agile methodologies, which includes:

Refining requirements Feature design Implementation Testing Providing operational support for deployed software

A day in your life will include: Being part of an agile team that uses the 'scrum' methodology to deliver valuable features for internal operations and external vendors. Daily stand-ups and regular interactions with end users and product managers. Mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices. Writing clean, efficient code, conducting design reviews, and focusing on engineering excellence. About our team: We are a passionate and efficient group dedicated to delivering automation and optimization solutions for the Devices (such as Amazon Echo, Kindles, FireTV, Ring, etc.) organization. We take pride in developing and owning the products available on both the Amazon retail site and through external vendors.
