As a key member of the Alexa Smart Home team, you will:
Design and develop highly scalable services managing billions of smart devices connected through the cloud.
Engage with innovative voice user interfaces, cloud services, and a fast-growing range of IoT devices.
Transition from direct device interactions to advanced learned behaviors across multiple devices in the home.
Play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience, creating solutions that your friends and family can relate to and enjoy daily.

About the Team:
The Alexa Smart Home team is dedicated to transforming Alexa into the main user interface for smart homes. We are committed to evolving Alexa into a smart, indispensable companion that streamlines interaction with appliances, automates daily routines, and maximizes the benefits of technology in everyday lives. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of systems with a focus on reliability and scaling. Proficient in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
