This sub family is responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required. Impact: Works on day-to-day objectives with limited impact beyond the scope of own work area/project team. Works under supervision on less complex projects/assignments. Complexity: Solves simple, routine technical problems following established procedures and policies. Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty. Communication: Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area. Leadership & Talent Management: Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of narrow technical domain. Must Have: Participate in code reviews. Learn team coding standards and best practices Shadow senior developers to understand system architecture and workflows. Complete assigned online training and certifications. Read and summarize technical documentation. Education: BS degree or equivalent experience and 2 years prior relevant/related experience How will this role interact and support the team? Size of team? As a junior/support and assist role. Must be able to hit the ground running. Details of the project this role will support: Software development Cyber compliance System integration What have others done to succeed in this position? Write, debug, and test code modules. What is a typical work day? Team planning weekly and act daily. Team meetings will assign regular missions with daily check-ins Ability to mange own workload but request support when required.
