Responsibilities and Requirements:
Familiarity with a variety of databases including SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Graph databases is a plus. A thorough understanding of API design and implementation. Ability to develop common Domain Language between Product, Data Science, and Engineering to share knowledge, define project requirements, and effectively communicate the core data and system insights.
Good understanding of back-end cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data technologies, with experience handling large volumes of data.
Experience with data-driven distributed systems, particularly in data science and machine learning in the cloud, is a plus.
Proficiency in development basics like git and associated Pull Request workflows.
The core output of this role will be APIs and related packages to support our research team, as well as leveraging these applications to create solutions for our business units.
Advanced knowledge of data science packages and supporting programming languages (Python, Java, C++, C, Golang, etc.).
