$1,000* Job Description: CACI has an exciting opportunity in Florham Park, NJ for a Senior AI and Machine Learning Research Engineer. The role involves applying machine learning, statistics, and image/video compression to develop algorithms for challenging problems in computer vision, signal processing, and networking. Responsibilities include researching and developing capabilities for 3D scene reconstruction, point cloud processing, pose estimation, object detection, motion tracking, and related areas. The engineer will also develop algorithms for image processing, sensor fusion, object re-identification, 3D modeling, and synthetic data generation, integrating these into larger systems. Responsibilities: Develop and justify performance of algorithms for network-based image processing capabilities. Perform detailed modeling and simulation, including impact analysis of solution architectures. Supervise development of applications and software subsystems, following best practices. Create technical plans with tasks, schedules, and estimates. Develop automated tests to evaluate algorithms and software. Act as a technical leader in proposals and project execution. Build customer relationships, pursue new business, and develop concepts for national security solutions. Qualifications: Required: Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or machine learning, with at least 4 years of experience. Experience with computer vision, networking algorithms, protocols, and software. Strong background in machine learning and statistics. Proficiency in Python and C++. Comfortable with Linux OS and utilities. Knowledge of computer networking, including TCP/IP, routing, and Linux networking. Experience with 3D object identification, tracking, and inference. Familiarity with computer vision frameworks and environments. Ability to model, simulate, and evaluate software solutions. Effective communication skills for research outcomes and team representation. Must be a US Citizen able to obtain security clearance. Desired: Ph.D. in related fields. Experience with signal processing, time-series data, probabilistic modeling, and Bayesian inference. Knowledge of information and probability theory, statistical tests. Familiarity with adversarial AI and AI/ML assurance concepts. Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred. Pay Range:
