A Globally recognized restaurant group is embarking on an exciting new venture—opening an elite Italian restaurant in the heart of New York City. Our company is renowned for its dedication to excellence, creativity, and world-class dining experiences. We are seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and bring authentic, innovative Italian cuisine to life.
Key Responsibilities
Innovate and craft daily and weekly specials that align with the restaurant's theme, customer preferences, and current food trends Lead, mentor, and develop a passionate kitchen team. Oversee recruitment, training, and continuous development to ensure a high standard of culinary excellence Monitor and manage food costs, inventory, and budget to maximize profitability without compromising quality. Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve financial goals Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety. Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience that exceeds guest expectations, with a focus on both culinary presentation and customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in high-end Italian restaurants. Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine, with a passion for creating authentic yet innovative dishes. Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management. Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities, from menu planning to daily operations. A creative mindset with the ability to adapt and innovate based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
