Position Overview Join us in our fast-paced support to develop, advance, and sustain weapon systems for the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and its mission partners. You will be joining a team of personnel with experience and an in-depth understanding of the environments that include ground, near-space, space, and any system that operates in those environments to meet current and projected strategic, operational, and tactical needs for the Department of Defense (DoD). QinetiQ is a mission-led innovation company that works with the USSF and DoD to design, develop, field, and maintain requirements essential to national security and the survivability of the warfighter.
We are seeking a Space Fire Control and Integration SME in Huntsville, AL that can serve as a Lead Speciality Integration Manager. This position requires explicit experience and in-depth knowledge of joint intelligence operations, space control methodologies and networks, highly technical understanding of space systems and operations. The ideal candidate will have over twenty (20) years of experience working in DoD space and intelligence areas. This position requires an individual who can work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure program success.
Responsibilities
Provide operations and technical advice and assistance for space systems integration projects and programs including recommending viable solutions for technical anomalies
Revise/draft acquisition and engineering documentation (e.g., Capability Development Requirements Documents, Technical/Systems Requirements Documents, System Specifications as well as enabling concepts, training material, briefings, reports, and other analyses)
Assist integrated product teams and working groups including technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and other informational meetings
Support the development, review, and evaluation of impact analysis, audits, studies, compliance inspections, and readiness reviews
Required Qualifications
Explicit experience and in-depth knowledge of joint intelligence operations and space control methodologies and networks
20 years experience working in DoD space and intelligence areas
Highly technical understanding of space systems and operations
Subject matter expertise in fire control and integration processes, methodologies, and approaches for space systems and architectures
MA/MS degree
TS/SCI with willingness to take CI Polygraph; #qinetiqclearedjob
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with USSF Space Systems Command or Space Operations Command
Experience with Missile Defense Agency or component of the Ballistic Missile Defense System
