nThe Work
nOur Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking
na candidate to support the integration, test, and
nverification of high performance Active
nElectronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar
nsystems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:
n• Apply advanced technologies, scientific
nprinciples, theories and concepts to develop
nrevolutionary system solutions
n• Support integration and test, evaluate test
nresults, investigate discrepancies, provide
ntechnical assessment of anomalies, and drive
nissues to resolution
n• Conduct system verification and support
ncertification activities
n• Represent the organization on contracts and
ninterface with internal and external customers,
nprogram and senior leadership, and
nmultidisciplinary engineering teams on significant
ntechnical matters
n• Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
n• Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments
n• Work a Non-standard shift as needed
n• Have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing
nThis position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

nBasic Qualifications:
n• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience
n• Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems and components
n• Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars
n• Experience in the integration and test of Solid State Radar systems
n• High proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python
n• Ability to perform data analysis
n• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported program
n• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration
ntesting
n• Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required
nDesired Skills:
n• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
n• Radar systems development experience including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
n• Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques
n• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts, such as evenings, nights and/or weekends as required by the supported program highly desirable
n• Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design implementation
n• Technical leadership experience with program
nexecution
n• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics
nand problem-solving skills
n• Experience with automated build and system
ndevelopment
n• Experience with managing pipelines across
nclassification boundaries
n• Ability to deploy new technologies, educate
nothers on their use and integrate them into
nworkflows

nAbility to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
nPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
nBenefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
n(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
nThis position is incentive plan eligible.
