Sr. Systems Admin - IT Infrastructure - Unix Systems Administration SA Technologies Inc. Position: Sr. Systems Admin - IT Infrastructure - Unix Systems Administration Location: Pleasanton, CA Duration: 3 Months + Job Description: As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will build, evolve, and operate systems powering our cloud services. You will ensure optimal and efficient operation of environments from development to production. This is a hands-on operational role. Success requires strong Linux system administration skills, aptitude for distributed systems, and attention to detail. You should have robust network, systems, and troubleshooting abilities, capable of analyzing complex behaviors and tracing issues across systems. You will be the first responder, responsible for ensuring our cloud infrastructure services are operational. Responsibilities: Operate and deploy cloud services and related projects from development to production Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning, performance analysis Mentor team members on your areas of expertise Requirements: BA/BS in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience 5+ years in a complex technical operations environment At least 3 years of Linux/UNIX administration, including patch management At least 2 years of VMWare administration Operational experience in high-volume or critical production environments Familiarity with vBlock architecture (blade servers, VNX, UCS) Knowledge of IP networking (iptables, haproxy, VPN, TCP/IP, HTTP) Proven troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, especially in VMWare environments Experience managing SAN and NAS storage (VNX, Isilon, Data Domain) Experience with production support and change control protocols Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills Experience managing highly available environments Self-motivated and detail-oriented Team-oriented and collaborative work style Ability to handle periodic on-call duties Helpful Skills: Experience with BOSH and Cloud Foundry Experience with vCloud Air/Director Experience with Windows AD, ADFS, certificates Familiarity with Swift, SMTP, Postfix Knowledge of Cassandra and xDB Pivotal Hadoop experience a plus Knowledge of Trend Micro Deep Security, Zabbix, Avamar All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
