Amazon shipping is seeking a strategic and results driven leader to join as a Sr. Risk Manager to lead the Claims charter for our org. We are looking for a talented individual who is able to work in an ambiguous environment, manage multiple stakeholders; and lead initiatives to improve Claims Experience and reduce abusive behaviors. You will have a detailed/analytical mindset as well as think big attitude and will be responsible to liaise with key stakeholders across Amazon Shipping Commercial/Product/Tech/Operations teams and internal partner teams. You will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable working with data, driving complex cross-functional Programs and will have a strong management and analytical skills, and be an effective communicator. As a Sr. Risk Manager, you will own the WW execution for growth of the Charter. You should have proven experience in strategy, large-scale execution, entrepreneurial innovation, working cross functionally with operations and engineering teams, and people leadership in a matrix environment. This role requires comfort in ambiguous situations and maintaining a high bar in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional and remotely located teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset and strong analytical skills are also essential.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the program charter by driving strategic initiatives for growth and quality improvement. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across Amazon Shipping Commercial/Product/Tech/Operations teams and internal partner teams. Dive deep into claims data to analyze trends, identify patterns and areas for improvement Lead/support development of product and operational requirements in close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams. Lead and/or support in key leadership update documents such as MBR/QBR, WW VP goals review. Deliver clear and concise updates on status of the Program with detailed commentary on key challenges, risks and mitigations implemented.

Basic Qualifications
6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
