What You Will Do: Supporting a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Senior Principal Linux System Administrator. Building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities. Working closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems. Supporting occasional after-hour maintenance and on-call support and must be able to lift to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations. Occasional travel may be required for installation support. This position is a 100% onsite role. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Must have active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance. An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems. Experience using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and Python.
