Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key skills: Postgres, Aurora, Automation, AWS Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and best practices Experience with database design, development, and optimization Ability to troubleshoot and resolve PostgreSQL issues Experience with AWS Aurora features, such as high availability, Global databases, and storage Experience with Aurora management and monitoring tools Experience with Aurora's performance and cost optimization strategies Good understanding of the AWS ecosystem and automation tools like CFT, Terraform Database Administration: monitoring performance, backup and recovery, troubleshooting, tuning, security, and compliance Database Security & Access Management expertise Experience supporting traditional DB tech such as Oracle, MongoDB (highly preferable) Database Migration experience, including planning, execution, data integrity verification, and AWS DMS services Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL Aurora) Soft skills: excellent communication, self-motivated, driven, creative Our client is a leading
