Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mobile Applications Engineer specializing in Android development, with a strong background in object-oriented programming and a proven track record of developing high-quality mobile applications. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing mobile applications to meet our goals and objectives, with a focus on creating maintainable, high-performance features for our Android app in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a remote position, requiring expertise in Kotlin, JetPack Compose, and Android SDK, to deliver projects within deadlines successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead development and testing processes, ensuring code and design quality through reviews. Provide technical leadership and enforce best engineering practices within a fast-paced environment. Drive hands-on implementation and remain updated with technology trends to ensure technical excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers to execute new features and enhancements. Optimize application performance and efficiency, ensuring high-quality user experience on the Android platform.
Must-Have Skills:
6+ years Strong experience with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose and object-oriented programming. Excellent understanding of Android application development lifecycle and framework components. Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Solid background in the software development domain, particularly in mobile applications development for Android. Experience with mobile frameworks or SDKs related to Identity, Payments, Analytics, and familiarity with AI/ML technologies is highly advantageous.
