As an Engineering Technician Co-op within the MRI Systems team, you will support the integration, testing, and troubleshooting of MRI systems and subsystems. This hands-on role is ideal for students currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year technical or engineering degree program who are looking to gain practical experience in a collaborative environment where learning and mentorship are prioritized. Essential Responsibilities: Assist engineers with the assembly, integration, and verification of MRI system components. Execute diagnostic testing and support root cause analysis for system-level issues. Document test procedures, results, and configurations in accordance with quality standards. Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety and 5S practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality engineering. Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives. Qualifications/Requirements: Actively enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Strong interest in medical imaging and hands-on technical work. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work on-site in Waukesha, WI.
