Annual Bonus and Commission The firm is a $7 billion+ investment firm based in New York with a high-quality, global firm with over 20 years of track record, focusing on credit-related strategies. The firm seeks to hire an individual to work as part of an entrepreneurial Business Development team primarily focused on supporting and growing the firm’s institutional business. Position Overview This individual will be an integral member of the Business Development team, primarily focusing on growing the firm’s institutional clients. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record of success in raising capital and an interest and ability to manage and nurture prospective investors. The successful candidate should have significant knowledge of and experience with private/public pensions, foundations, endowments, and insurance companies, mostly focused on the East Coast. Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following : Developing a thorough understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, solutions, products, and structures, and effectively being able to present them to investors Fundraise to achieve and exceed targets Work closely with the firm’s senior management and investment teams to align fundraising activities with overall firm strategies and priorities. Required Skills: Strong understanding of credit-oriented asset classes Exceptional attention to detail Proven track record of individual success raising capital in credit or related strategies Ability to understand strategies and communicate articulately with investors Aptitude for managing and cultivating client relationships Must be able to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, competitive work environment Ability to work independently of others while also collaborating closely within a small team High energy, outgoing, results-oriented personality with strong work ethic and high self-motivation Background/Professional Requirements: CFA / MBA preferred 7-10 years of relevant experience required Seniority level
