Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled
AutoCAD Drafter II/III
to support our engineering team in producing precise and professional drafting work for a variety of construction projects. This role will involve creating and updating detailed technical drawings, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and revise accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Interpret sketches, redlines, and notes from engineers and transform them into detailed construction documents.
Develop site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and structural details.
Collaborate closely with engineering staff to support design development and project delivery.
Ensure all drawings meet established quality standards and comply with applicable codes and specifications.
Organize, maintain, and archive drawings and project files.
Assist with permit submittals and revisions as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years
of professional drafting experience, ideally within the civil, structural, or construction engineering field.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
is required.
Strong understanding of construction documents, building systems, and site development standards.
An
in-depth knowledge of commonly used drafting concepts, practices, and procedures .
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
Experience with
Revit
and/or
3D AutoCAD
is .
Civil 3D experience is a plus.
Certificate or Associate’s degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other design tools is advantageous.
