6/16/2025 (Mon) - 8/22/2025 (Fri) (including setup, breakdown, and orientation weekends) Camp Hours:
8:00 am - 6:00 pm (shifts vary) Hourly Wage:

As part of our team, you'll develop leadership skills, collaborate with interesting people, and engage in creative and playful activities. Job Responsibilities: Facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. Creating and overseeing activity spaces or supporting various roles throughout camp. Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, and more. Additional Responsibilities: Supervising campers actively. Maintaining organized and approachable activity spaces. Ensuring compliance with camp policies. Reporting incidents, injuries, and concerns. Managing camper allergies and dietary restrictions. Updating camper profiles with photos and notes. Chaperoning off-site field trips as needed. Candidate Qualities: Excited about guiding kids in decision-making. Calm under pressure and able to de-escalate. Comfortable leading groups independently and collaborating with a team. Energetic and physically capable of keeping up with children (up to 40 lbs lifting). Passionate about sharing knowledge and learning new skills. Requirements: At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2 months of camp experience or 1 year in education/child care. Consent to contact via email or text upon application. Willingness to chaperone off-site trips. Additional Job Preferences: Management or leadership experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and perform physical activities. Qualified as a local camp director or previous Steve & Kate's Camp employee preferred. Seniority Level
