Associate's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering or Construction or Business or related field and a minimum of (4) years of relevant work experience or
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of (6) years of relevant work experience
Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or applicable degree and Experience with Telecommunication systems and LAN room equipment.
Relevant Work Experience Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines simultaneously, required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, required.
Excellent oral and written skills, required.
Previous LAN Administration, LAN Infrastructure, Cisco CUCM Infrastructure and Unity Platform, preferred.
Contract administration and contractor oversight, preferred.
A good understanding of industry standard policy, processes and procedures covering incident, problem and change management is preferred.
Knowledge of monitoring and security tools is preferred.

Technical certifications (e.g. FCC, CCNA, RCDD, etc.), preferred.
Experience with Telecommunication systems and LAN room equipment, preferred.
Skills and Abilities Ability to interpret basic information on drawings.

Physical Demands Ability to respond to system emergencies
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday
Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday
Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
Use hand-eye coordination to adjust controls on equipment
Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses
Use personal vehicle(s), and be able to transport, store, and secure company laptops and other job-related equipment in vehicle. Acknowledge that reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure
Additional Physical Demands The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
