The Naval Education and Training Command provides training and education to the Fleet in support of fleet readiness and Navy mission accomplishment. NETC develops the Naval Total Force (NTF) through education and training that builds personal, professional and leadership skills by tailoring training delivery to the individual and providing access when and where needed through optimal use of technology. The NETC Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) organization's mission is to enable delivery of secure, affordable, next generation technologies and business capabilities for OPNAV N16, the NETC clamancy, and the Navy enterprise. We're looking for someone like you to help organizations solve their traditional business challenges with new digital transformation architecture from roadmap to implementation. As a digital transformation architect on our team, you'll be trusted to transform, modernize, and create efficiency in training by implementing experience design. Using MBSE, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders and other consultants to enhance your expertise in technical ecosystems and implement transformative software. Job Duties And Responsibilities
Provides technical solutions for organizational digital transformation architecture from roadmap to implementation. Analyzes existing training systems to identify areas for improvement and modernization. Develops detailed models and simulations to represent current and future states of the training systems. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into system models. Utilizes MBSE methodologies and tools to create and maintain system architectures and design documentation. Conducts system analysis and trade studies to evaluate alternative solutions and their impacts. Prepares and presents technical reports, documentation, and briefings to stakeholders. Ensures compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Qualifications
Required Certifications: Secret clearance Minimum of HS diploma or GED, but Bachelor's degree is preferred Education, Background, and Years of Experience: Bachelors degree and 2-4+ years of directly related experience or Masters degree and 0-2+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills: 2+ years of experience with Systems Engineering Experience with MBSE Experience in Enterprise Architecture (DoDAF and BEA frameworks) preferred with the DoD and/or DoN Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) Experience with modeling tools, including Cameo Enterprise Architecture Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile methodology, including Scrum and Kanban Experience tracking individual work tasks in Jira Experience tracing work tasks in Microsoft Lists Possession of excellent problem-solving skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Working Conditions
Environmental Conditions: Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment.
