Position Summary
The Systems Administrator I will be a part of a team that provides systems administration for all servers and applications utilized in the 96th Medical Group, including the file, application and services, DHA, Air Force, DoD Standard Systems, and vendor-supplied systems.
Role Requirements
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field or a related area. Must possess a Security+ CE certification. Must have an advanced knowledge of general server hardware and Microsoft Server Operating Systems. Must have an advanced understanding of software installation and configuration. Must have a general knowledge of networks and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.). Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s). Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate. Additional requirements: Must have the following documentation available at time of in-processing: Hepatitis B: Three shot series OR a positive titer. Influenza: Current season. o MMR: Two-shot series OR a positive titer. PPD: Two TB skin test at least one week apart but within 12 months OR a QFT/T-spot. Tdap: One-time dose; then Td booster every ten (10) years. Varicella: Two shot series OR a positive titer OR medical documentation of chickenpox diagnosis as a child.
