This role blends strategic business analysis with hands-on data interpretation. It combines product ownership, backlog grooming, and cross-functional leadership with core BA responsibilities such as requirements discovery, data-driven solutioning, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will drive development of data-enriched features for eCommerce platforms while managing offshore delivery and transforming insights into measurable outcomes.

• This job requires hybrid onsite in Tampa 4 days per week and 1 day remote
• Candidates must be local to Tampa FL
• This is slated for a contact to hire, candidates must be able to work on W2 at FTE conversion. No long term C2C or 1099 can be considered at this time.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Analysis

• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify high-level requirements and define measurable objectives.
• Evaluate available data sources and determine which insights are feasible based on existing infrastructure.
• Translate business needs into structured, actionable specifications for technical teams.

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

• Prioritize features, backlog items, and sprint deliverables for a cross-functional offshore team.
• Lead sprint planning, facilitate agile ceremonies, and oversee release readiness.
• Own and evolve the roadmap for AI-powered initiatives tied to customer insights and eCommerce performance.

Team Leadership & Offshore Coordination

• Lead a remote team of 47 contributors including Power BI developers, data scientists, and backend engineers.
• Act as the primary liaison for requirement clarification and sprint execution, especially in the absence of a scrum master.
• Maintain cross-team alignment across time zones to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis in SQL and Power BI to assess adoption, engagement, and sales performance.
• Convert raw data into actionable dashboards and reports to guide decision-making.
• Use DAX queries and design KPIs, tagging architecture, and event tracking logic via tools like Google Tag Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in data-driven environments.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into analytical strategies.
• Expertise in BI tools with a focus on insight delivery and performance reporting.
• Experience with agile methodologies and navigating evolving business requirements.
• Comfortable leading offshore teams and driving cross-functional execution.
