Our platform supports students, athletes, professionals, and lifelong learners with our primary clients coming through B2B partnerships with schools, sports organizations, and businesses. We are looking for a well-rounded technical generalist with an ownership mindset to lead development on our core VR + Mobile cognitive training platform. Where You will Fit In You will join our core product team-a fast-moving, collaborative group focused on creating high-impact experiences that users love. We have a shared goal: to make brain training as intuitive and rewarding as physical training. You will work closely with leadership, external studios, and other stakeholders to turn bold ideas into working products. The team will count on you not just for code-but for judgment, leadership, and a commitment to quality. What You will Be Responsible For This role is all about ownership. You will lead the technical development of our VR and mobile platforms-managing everything from architecture and feature planning to QA and deployment. You will have a direct hand in shaping how our product evolves, solving tough engineering problems, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. It is a mix of high-level thinking and hands-on execution. A few things to know: We are cross-platform (Unity, iOS, Android), so flexibility is key. You will be working with external vendors-sometimes guiding, sometimes collaborating. There's real complexity: multiple platforms, performance constraints, tight feedback loops. We move fast and value initiative. If you wait to be told what to do, this probably is not the right fit. As we are in startup stage, this is a hands-on role requiring detailed work and coding; you must be willing and able to do it all. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for more than a resume. We are looking for someone who: Has a builder's mindset and gets energy from solving hard problems Takes full ownership of outcomes, not just tasks Communicates clearly and brings others along Is curious, proactive, and continuously learning Cares about the details and the bigger picture Leads with integrity and keeps things moving Project management skills including leading plans and people Understands the reality of startup life (yes, sometimes there's travel, or odd hours) What You Bring 5+ years in game or immersive tech development, ideally with VR experience Strong Unity and mobile (iOS/Android) development chops Experience leading cross-platform launches Experience leveraging AI tools and solutions for development, including AI-assisted coding, and generative content creation tools and workflows Familiarity with backend/cloud tools (Firebase, AWS, etc.) Comfort managing QA, deployment, and analytics tracking Prior leadership or senior technical roles Comfortable working with external studios or freelance teams Familiarity with 3D and 2D tools like Blender, Adobe Suite, Figma Experience with product analytics tools and in-app event tracking Experience with backend services and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud) Bonus: experience shipping VR titles or working on wellness/edtech products Bonus: Experience in game or level design Bonus: Background in EdTech, wellness, cognitive training, or fitness apps Bonus: familiarity with FERPA, COPPA, or similar data/privacy regulations Why This Role?
