What You’ll Be Responsible For Executing and evolving our developer community engagement strategy—ensuring developers feel supported and inspired. Reporting to the Director of Community, you will manage daily operations on platforms like Discord, support community growth, and coordinate with Developer Relations, Product, and Marketing teams to keep developers informed and engaged. Your efforts will foster a vibrant, safe, and impactful developer environment aligned with Circle’s strategic goals.
What You’ll Work On
Manage daily operations of Circle’s developer community across platforms like Discord, ensuring timely responses, healthy discussions, and a safe environment.
Implement engagement strategies to promote participation and foster a sense of belonging among global developers.
Collaborate with Developer Relations, Product, and Marketing teams to gather technical insights and respond to community inquiries.
Create and maintain community resources such as FAQs, tutorials, and blog content reflecting developer needs and brand standards.
Organize virtual and in-person community events, including workshops, hackathons, and meetups, from planning to feedback.
Analyze engagement metrics using tools like CommonRoom to identify trends, sentiment, and suggest improvements.
Build relationships with influencers, partners, and contributors to grow the community and promote USDC and Circle’s APIs.
Core Requirements
7+ years of experience in community management or developer engagement, preferably in fast-paced tech or Web3 environments.
Familiarity with USDC and foundational knowledge of crypto, DeFi, or Web3 concepts.
Proven experience managing vibrant online communities on platforms like Discord, Reddit, and Discourse.
Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical topics into accessible content.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Developer Relations, Product, and Marketing.
Ability to analyze community metrics and utilize insights for strategy improvements using tools like CommonRoom or Orbit.
Comfort operating independently while managing multiple initiatives in a global, distributed team.
Preferred Requirements
Experience planning and executing developer-focused events such as hackathons or technical workshops.
