Job Summary: The Windows - VMware with AD Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, and managing the VMware platform related to infrastructure support for Microsoft Windows servers hosted on-premises or in the cloud. This role requires expertise in Windows and VMware administration, Cisco UCS-Converged Infrastructure, and AWS services such as Amazon S3 and EC2. The ideal candidate will enhance data accuracy, accessibility, and integration, contributing to strategic business goals.
Required Skills:
8 to 10 years of experience in Windows and VMware administration, with SME expertise

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot Windows server issues and manage Windows administration
Manage VMware ESX, including troubleshooting and administration
Scripting: PowerShell or related automation skills are a plus
Administer Active Directory (including ADFS Level 2), Windows Clustering, and DNS
Install and configure Active Directory domain controllers
Manage Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Virtualize Windows servers using HyperV and VMware vSphere, including SAN management
Develop and deploy customized VMware solutions
Optimize network hardware and software for VMware integration
Install operating systems, service packs, security patches, and fixes
Virtualize Windows servers and connect them to networks and clouds
Build and tune Windows Server on any platform (On-premises or VMware)
Support mission-critical systems with moves, adds, and changes, interfacing with change control processes
Monitor and optimize system performance
Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, configuring new services as needed
Demonstrate analytical and logical thinking skills
Availability for 24/7 support is mandatory
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Windows and VMware administration
Expertise in Cisco UCS-Converged Infrastructure
Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Amazon S3 and EC2
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proactive and adaptable to new technologies
Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
