Project Manager/Sr. Consultant Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this long-term (part time, 5-10 hours/week) contract position, you will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables meet high-quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in technical project management and vendor engagement. Responsibilities: Partner with internal teams to define project objectives, technical specifications, and desired outcomes. Provide expert advice on organizational structure, content creation, and best practices to optimize project documentation. Draft, review, and refine project documents to ensure they are complete, clear, and adhere to industry standards. Identify and address potential risks or gaps in project documentation based on prior experience. Develop and implement vendor evaluation criteria and scoring methods to streamline proposal assessments. Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and progress. Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of objectives. Collaborate with technical writers and other team members to produce high-quality documentation. Utilize tools such as Jira to track project tasks and maintain transparency. Provide strategic input to enhance project outcomes with minimal supervision. Requirements: Proven track record as a Project Manager in software development projects. Extensive experience in creating and managing RFPs for technical initiatives. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials. Proficiency in using project management tools like Atlassian Jira. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse teams. Ability to work independently and provide actionable insights with minimal guidance.
