The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Cardiology Physician at the Assistant Professor Tenure Track level. Position Details: Focus on Pediatric Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Devices, and Pediatric Heart Transplant, joining the Medical Director of Heart Failure/Transplant/VAD. Participate in evaluation and treatment of cardiomyopathies and heart failure. Provide general pediatric cardiology care at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and outreach clinics. Potential involvement in echocardiographic interpretation and inpatient/outpatient services based on expertise. Contribute to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in service activities. Engage in scholarly work aimed at developing collaborative or independent research with external funding. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and Pediatric Cardiology fellowship programs. Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Licensed or able to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in Minnesota. Meet criteria for Credentialing and Privileges. Eligibility to work in the United States. About the Department
Join a team of 20 Cardiologists dedicated to pediatric heart care, education, and research. The Pediatric Heart Transplant program has a 35+ year history and has expanded significantly. The team includes CV intensivists, care coordinators, cardiologists, and surgeons specializing in congenital heart defect repairs, pediatric mechanical circulatory support, and transplants. Pay and Benefits
