Under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. This role involves providing excellent customer service to patients, their families, the public, and the medical team. Additionally, the technologist participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities and provides age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Title:

Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. This role involves providing excellent customer service to patients, their families, the public, and the medical team. Additionally, the technologist participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities and provides age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. Act as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff. Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Provide age-appropriate care, assisting with data collection and patient care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, or equivalent education/experience. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional training in angiocardiography, or equivalent education/experience. Advanced registration in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging. 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
