American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV Labor & Delivery position requiring high-volume perinatal experience and advanced certifications.Job Details•Position based in a Level IV Maternal Designation hospital with 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 14 antepartum monitoring beds,•High-risk, fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit managing over 500 deliveries per month,•Work in an academic teaching environment with 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage,•Shift hours are 19:00-07:30,•Unit provides specialized perinatal and neonatal care and supports a Perinatal Transport Program,•Floating may be required within the scope of perinatal services,Job Requirements•Active TX RN license with current Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start,•Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service,•BLS (AHA required), ACLS (AHA or Red Cross), and NRP (AAP) certifications required,•Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required,•Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited school required,•S.T.A.B.L.E. Program and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications preferred,•Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred,•Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,Additional Information•Responsibilities include caring for high-risk laboring and postpartum patients in a multidisciplinary team,•Opportunity to work in an academic and private OB practice setting with support from residents and attending staff,•First-time travelers are eligible for consideration,•COVID-19 vaccination is not required as of July 2023,•Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided by the unit,•A radius rule applies for local candidates; local pay rate will be adjusted based on proximity to the facility,•Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on the schedule,•Facility expansion planned for late 2025 with a new Women's Tower
