Job Description Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Labor and Delivery Specialty: RN Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service. License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification from a recognized source. Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Advanced Life Support certification from a recognized source. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.
Must-Have: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility. It comprises 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. The facility operates as an academic teaching service with a large private OB practice. It provides high-risk, fast-paced delivery services, performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house Attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. The facility has a Perinatal Transport Program and is expanding to a new Women's Tower in late 2025. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service, S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification is also preferred.
