$125,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Our client is seeking a Vice President or experienced Associate to join our Commodity & Structured Trade Finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the origination and execution of trade finance transactions, primarily focused on standby letters of credit and traditional trade finance, while managing internal approval and execution processes. Key Responsibilities: Support the execution and lifecycle management of trade finance transactions across new and existing portfolios. Lead coordination of transaction closings, including the issuance and amendment of letters of credit and funding of discounting deals. Liaise closely with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams globally. Ensure all transactions meet the bank’s regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks. Manage documentation, booking, and internal approvals for structured trade finance transactions. Support origination activities from client pitch through closing—prepare marketing materials, structure transactions, perform return analysis, and draft term sheets. Assist with negotiating and reviewing transaction documentation. Monitor and manage the existing client portfolio to identify risks, attrition, or opportunities to deepen client engagement. Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of experience in trade finance, with a strong focus on standby letters of credit and traditional trade instruments. Strong project management and analytical skills; able to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate across global teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working in a multicultural, global banking environment is a plus.
