NOTICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES Pursuant to section 656.10 of Title 20 of the Code of Federal Regulations (20 C.F.R. § 656.10), you are hereby notified that an Application for Permanent Employment Certification is being filed for the following position: Viasat, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer in Carlsbad, CA. Duties: Writing and reviewing code in different languages development environment. Creating deployment frameworks and pipelines for CI/CD managed systems. Utilizing agile methodologies including Kanban, SCRUM, XP, modern software development environments, and DevOps practices. Designing, documenting, and developing new APIs. Working on Ansible playbook-based software development. Maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the existing systems. Data analyzing and modeling using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Implementing AI bots. 100% Telecommuting permitted within the U.S. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and demonstrated proficiency in: Python and Bash RESTful web services, JSON, YAML, CSS, JavaScript Designing patterns and OO principles Ansible, Salt or Chef High level OO language including Java, Ruby, C++, Objective C, Go Linux system management Salary: $139,000.00 to $173,500.00 per year.
