About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Sales to join its Global Business Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's presence in the U.S. structured credit and leveraged loan rating business. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of structured credit markets, including leveraged loans, CLOs, and fund debt issuance. The primary focus will be on developing and nurturing relationships with asset managers, intermediaries, and lenders to increase market demand for the company's ratings. The role demands a disciplined approach to achieving goals, the ability to work independently, and a proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities for new product development.
Applicants for the Vice President, Sales position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or economics, with a preference for those holding a degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of debt capital markets, loan origination, asset management, and investors. Strong communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a proven track record of conducting successful business meetings are essential. Experience with Salesforce and Bloomberg terminal is a plus.
