F5 Security Engineer - Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
We are seeking a skilled F5 Security Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI Poly. The role involves: Participating in the development and support of customer technical requirements Promoting a collaborative, team-based environment, sharing methodologies, and building positive relationships Planning, designing, developing, implementing, and operating F5 products such as LTM, ASM, BIG-IQ, and APM Managing configurations on multiple physical and virtual F5 devices across data centers Developing scripts and tools to automate network security device configurations Proposing and implementing system enhancements for performance and reliability Applying capacity planning and configuration changes as required Addressing performance, scalability, and architecture issues Designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining network security services and devices Supporting network security infrastructure and providing technical documentation Monitoring and troubleshooting platform, OS, and network issues Performing launch testing for software releases and new features Coordinating equipment orders and system upgrades/maintenance Demonstrating knowledge across technology domains such as Storage, Virtualization, Networking, Data Center Migration, and Disaster Recovery Understanding risk and controls standards, participating in change and incident management, and collaborating across teams Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain CI Poly 5+ years of F5 experience including advanced iRule troubleshooting Proficiency in networking, web technologies, and scripting (Python, APIs) F5 201 certification and 8570 IAT Level II Certification Preferred Skills
Experience with Infoblox DDI, Microsoft DNS, Dyn, VMWare Automation products Benefits
