Description: The client is looking for two (2)
.NET Web Developer IIIs . This position will close to submissions on 8/6/2025 at 4:00PM CST. Top Required Skills & Experience: Experience as a lead developer in large application projects, preferably involving modernization and UX redesign, using frameworks like MudBlazor - at least 2 years Expertise in ASP.NET Core v6-8 - at least 2 years Experience with Azure SQL cloud databases - at least 1 year Experience with GitHub version control and CI/CD pipelines - at least 1 year Nice to Have Skills: Experience in Agile environments Experience with Linq or Entity Framework Experience working with government systems, especially DWD environments, is a plus Interview Process:
Teams with cameras on. Candidates must upload a realtime screenshot photo upon confirming the interview. Refer to the 'DWD Realtime Photo Requirement & Instructions' document in attachments. Contract Duration:
06/30/2026 with potential extension. Location:
Candidates must be current WI residents; no relocation. Preference for Madison-area candidates. Mostly remote within WI, with onsite as needed. Project Description:
Work on the VISTA modernization project, including application development, system integration, database migration, cloud environment setup, and legacy code analysis. Successful candidates will have experience in web services, system integrations, and OLTP systems. Technical Environment: Azure SQL .NET Framework 6 & 8 Blazor, MudBlazor Visual Studio, Azure, GitHub, Jira, Swagger, Microservices Additional Info: Availability during DWD working hours (7:45 am - 4:30 pm CT). Onsite work possible at DWD Madison WI headquarters, with travel expenses not reimbursed. Credentials verification required. In-person or live video interview needed. Experience with government projects and DWD environments is a plus. Pay Rate:
