Responsibilities
As a NITFS Request For Change (RFC) Process Program/Project Manager (RFC), you will be the primary point of contact for all RFC-related matters within ExServ. You will review, assess, and modify RFCs to ensure alignment with ExServ's goals and objectives.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Coordination and Management of RFCs:
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of RFCs, Coordinate with various teams to gather input and address concerns
- Attend RFC Related meeting to include pre-coordination, concept review, and TEMs
- Facilitate RFC review and approval processes
Review and Validation:
- Validate RFCs for completeness and consistency
- Review RFCs for alignment with company goals and objectives
- Identify and address potential issues or concerns
Documentation and Tracking:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive RFC documentation
- Establish and update tracking systems to monitor RFC progress
- Provide status updates associated with all RFCs at the weekly staff meeting.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to colleagues on RFC process best practices
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among teams
Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyze RFC process effectiveness and efficiency
- Develop strategies to improve the RFC process
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP certification strongly preferred.
812 years of project/program management experience within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
Proven experience in managing large-scale technical programs with complex integration requirements.
Proven experience with NITFS RFC Process
Experience with requirements and configuration management tools and processes.
Demonstrated experience in risk management, metrics development, and data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility required.
