Duties And Responsibilities
Looking for someone with CITRIX VDI (VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) is a technology that delivers a desktop operating system and applications to end users virtually, instead of running directly on a physical device. In simpler terms, it allows users to access a complete desktop environment hosted on servers—often in a data center or the cloud—through a secure connection from almost any endpoint (PC, thin client, tablet...).
Required Experience
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Citrix Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) design, deployment, and optimization VDI performance tuning and troubleshooting User profile management and application layering
Cloud Engineering (AWS Focused)
AWS cloud architecture and services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS) Migrating on-premises workloads to AWS (Lift-and-Shift or re-architecture) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
Windows Systems and Active Directory
Building and managing Windows Server virtual machines Large-scale Microsoft Active Directory administration (Group Policies, trusts, DNS) Integration with cloud-based identity platforms (Azure AD, AWS Directory Service)
Unified Communications and End-User Services
Deploying and managing Microsoft Teams, Exchange, or Skype for Business Endpoint management solutions (Intune, SCCM)
Security and Compliance
Implementing endpoint security and shared security services Identity and access management, MFA, and encryption protocols Monitoring and compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, or other frameworks
General Skills
Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python) Performance monitoring and capacity planning Agile methodologies and ITIL practices for service delivery REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance will be considered.**
