Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to join our team in Agoura Hills. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing mail is processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with firm procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, task-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Open, sort, and date-stamp all incoming mail daily
- Remove staples and prepare documents for scanning
- Prioritize urgent vs. non-urgent mail according to firm guidelines
- Search case management system for relevant dates and information
- Photocopy and scan mail and documents as needed
- Notify appropriate parties of received mail via email
- Create case file shells in the firm's case management system
- Generate shipping labels and prepare outgoing packages
- Process outgoing mail through postage system and ensure proper billing
- Perform data entry and filing tasks
- Support the team with additional administrative duties as assignments
Hours: 8:30 am - 5pm
Location: Agoura Hills
Pay: $20
