HANDS-ON LEAD CARPENTER - HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL REMODELING ($55,000-$100,000 Including Benefits & Performance Bonuses)
Are you a skilled craftsman who loves being in the field and working with your hands? Do you take pride in exceptional finish carpentry while having the ability to lead a project forward? Capozzi Design Build, an award-winning design-build firm in Chagrin Falls, is seeking a Lead Carpenter who wants to stay hands-on while directing daily operations on high-end residential projects.
THIS IS NOT A DESK JOB - This is a working lead carpenter position for someone who wants to be on-site, tools in hand.
What You'll Actually Do: •Execute high-end finish carpentry and cabinet installation •Lead by example - actively working while directing helpers •Handle everything from historical renovations to modern remodels •Use digital tools to access plans, document progress, and communicate with team •Perform quality craftsmanship in kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-house renovations •Maintain clean job site daily practices
Must Have: •7+ years of hands-on residential remodeling experience •Expert-level finish carpentry skills •Ability to think independently and solve problems in the field •Physical capability to perform daily carpentry work •Strong work ethic and attention to detail •Basic digital literacy - comfort using iPads and digital tools for daily work •Multi-skilled capabilities (basic electrical, plumbing,drywall/ paint knowledge a plus)
