We're currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Encino, CA 91316
A lovely family seeks an occasional sitter for their two children, ages 5 and 9 years, for an immediate start. Backup care is needed intermittently during the weekdays between the hours of 7am-6pm. Their 5-year-old is social and enjoys books, art, and toys, while their 9-year-old is athletic, smart, and independent. Those applying do not need to be available for all of the family's requests, but should understand that
there are no guaranteed weekly hours for this position . There is a small, friendly dog in the home-no pet care is needed. This role is ideal for a sitter who is calm, confident in setting limits, and engaging with both energetic and independent children. Start date:

Compensation:
$30-$35 per hour + gas reimbursement

Responsibilities: Engaging with children through age-appropriate play Preparing light meals and snacks Providing gentle reminders and routine prompts to help children with transitions and daily tasks Transporting children to and from school and activities (within a 10-mile radius)
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience CPR certified, or willingness to become certified Legally authorized to work in the U.S. High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable with friendly dogs Valid driver's license, clean driving record, valid auto insurance Reliable vehicle to transport the children Able to provide 2 childcare related references Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
Compensation:
