What you'll do: As an Optometrist, you’ll provide comprehensive eye care in a supportive, well-equipped practice, working between 24 and 40 hours per week. You’ll conduct detailed eye exams, prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, and diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Patient education will be a key part of your role, as you counsel individuals on vision care, treatment plans, and preventive strategies. You’ll also collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed and maintain accurate, thorough documentation. The practice features advanced technology, including OCT, Optos, Keratograph, Optilight IPL, Cynosure RF, A- and B-scan, and corneal topography, supporting you in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll treat anywhere from 17 to 20 patients daily.
