Are you an associate with complex commercial litigation experience? A national law firm is seeking an associate for its West Palm Beach office to handle a broad range of commercial litigation responsibilities. We are seeking an attorney with at least two years of sophisticated experience who is interested in working on a national platform. Key Responsibilities: Take and defend depositions Handle motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions (e.g., motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment) Prepare and respond to discovery (e.g., interrogatories, requests for production) Draft pleadings, including complaints, answers, counterclaims, and motions Attend court appearances, including hearings and status conferences Collaborate on trial strategy and preparation (witness lists, exhibits, jury instructions) Build and maintain strong client relationships Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) Active Florida Bar membership (or eligibility to become licensed in Florida) Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience Strong written and oral communication skills Demonstrated client-facing experience and ability to work with senior attorneys on case strategy Why This Firm?
