Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on design efforts, provide security engineering, and lead the engineering of RMF BOE artifacts for large-scale enterprise IT programs.
- Provide ISSE expertise for all engineering tasks and projects.
- Describe system functions, information types, operating environments, and security requirements.
- Review security controls and assist in tailoring them to protect information systems.
- Assist in determining assurance measures to meet security requirements.
- Integrate ISSE team members into Scrum and project teams for RMF security support.
- Design and implement security controls in collaboration with Systems, Network, and other engineers, including Zero Trust Architecture.
- Conduct Assessment and Authorization activities, coordinating with security officials.
- Create and update RMF documentation and artifacts.
Work Environment
- Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (On-site)
- Travel: Minimal, 0-20%
- Hours: Standard 40-hour week
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret with SCI clearance
- 5-8 years with BS/BA, 3-5 years with MS/MA, or 0-2 years with PhD
- IAM Level III certification
- Experience in security engineering across enterprise systems and networks
- Experience with Security Information and Event Monitoring (Splunk), Endpoint security (HBSS), CyberArk, ACAS/Nessus, Fortify
- Network security experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS
- Proficiency with Cisco products and security tools
- Familiarity with RMF and DoDAF 2.0 standards
- Knowledge of Scrum methodologies

Compensation
Base salary: $100,000 to $140,000 (Maryland area)
