Job Title: Temporary Events and Fundraising Assistant Location: Mission Valley, San Diego Type: Temporary | Non-Profit Organization

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and organized Temporary Events and Fundraising Assistant to support a leading non-profit organization in Mission Valley. This short-term role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and eager to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events and donor engagement activities

Support event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, and material preparation

Help manage guest lists, track RSVPs, and coordinate event registrations

Communicate with sponsors, donors, and volunteers via phone and email

Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution

Maintain donor and fundraising data in the organization's CRM system

Process donations and prepare acknowledgment letters and receipts

Assist with post-event reporting and follow-up communications

Support the development team with various administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening or weekend events

Prior experience in fundraising, event coordination, or non-profit work is a plus

Working Hours:

Full-time

Onsite

Monday- Friday

9/8/80 schedule

Position Details:

Location: Mission Valley, San Diego

Contract role till at least October

Compensation: $26.00- $30.00 per hour DOE
