About the Position WHO WE ARE Montgomery County Recreation is a nationally recognized and award-winning agency committed to providing high-quality, diverse, and accessible programs, services, and facilities that enhance the quality of life for all ages, cultures, and abilities. The department manages 39 facilities, including recreation centers, senior centers, and indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities, and provides thousands of programs such as out-of-school activities, aquatics, classes, youth and adult sports programs and leagues, senior programs, and therapeutic recreation. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Montgomery County Recreation is looking for an energetic, highly motivated, entry-level TeenWorks! What You'll Be Doing As a TeenWorks you will: Provide exceptional customer service by looking up and sharing accurateinformation. Assists with supervision of participants in school-based or recreation center-based programs or activities. Set up and break downequipment. Monitor activities and ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment. Lead recreation activities. Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting during programs or activities. Assist with cleaning and organizing of facility or program. Learn something new EVERY DAY!
